RE/MAX CELEBRATES J.D. POWERS AWARDS!

I was fortunate to be in Los Angeles in August at the RE/MAX Broker/Owner Conference and to see RE/MAX Founder and Chairman, Dave Liniger receive two prestigious awards from J.D. Powers.

The Awards were presented for highest overall satisfaction for home sellers and home buyers among national full service real estate firms according to J.D. Powers VP, Paula Sonkin who presented the awards to Mr. Liniger.

In his address, Liniger also revealed the results of a national consumer survey conducted by an independent research organization. According to the survey, RE/MAX is the most recognized brand, top of mind, for the national real estate companies in the market and among consumers intending to buy or sell, RE/MAX is the most considered national brand. The survey also found that RE/MAX is the national brand most likely to be recommended by consumers.

 Among the many other accomplishments that Liniger outlined to the appreciative crowd:

·         In two independent surveys, RIS Media Power Broker and REAL Trends 500, RE/MAX brokerages were far more productive than their competitors. In the REAL Trends 500, RE/MAX brokerages held 21 of the top 25 positions when ranked by agent productivity.

·        Worldwide franchise sales were up nearly 15% in the first half of 2011, with an increase of 114% in the United States over the same period in 2010.

·        RE/MAX continues to lead the industry in the number of agents trained in Short Sales with the most Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE) designees in the real estate industry.

In the Toledo marketplace, the RE/MAX brand continues to dominate the marketplace with a 28% market share for calendar year 2010 for single family homes in the Lucas, Wood, Ottawa and Fulton County areas. RE/MAX Preferred let the brand with over 1600 sold homes in 2010  throughout the area including Perrysburg, Sylvania, Oregon, Monclova Township, Stone Oak, Waterville and Maumee areas.

RE/MAX Preferred also was recognized by REAL Trends http://www.realtrends.com/ for per person productivity in 2010. In fact, RE/MAX Preferred was the only Northwest Ohio agency to be listed for per person productivity, placing #31 among this nationwide ranking.

The J.D. Powers Award is a validation for the hard work, dedication and knowledge that RE/MAX agents bring to buyers and sellers in Toledo and around the globe.
